Program Information

• Kids Street offers a play based program for toddlers and preschoolers

• We aim to take the children outside for part of the program every day (weather permitting) and encourage growth through play

• All programs include a snack

• Our Toddler program is for children 18 months to 2.5 years

• Preschool program is for children 2.5 and older

• Kindergarten Readiness extended day program (Monday and Wednesdays) is for children that are enrolled or enrolling in school the following school year. 

Learn through Play

At Kids Street we value the children's natural curiosity to experiment, explore, manipulate and discover. Our trained educators provide a stimulating learning environment rich in opportunities for children of all ages and stages of development. The play based learning environments will encourage young children to develop a positive self-image, grow independent through freedom of choice, develop physical motor skills, learn to respect themselves, others and their environment.

Educators are licensed through the Ministry of Education and that we follow the "How Does Learning Happen?" curriculum.

Reminders

• Please send your child with a spare change of clothes, weather appropriate clothing for going outside, indoor shoes, a water bottle, and diapers and wipes if they are not potty trained

• Your child will have a mail folder that will collect their artwork, program information, fundraising information, etc. Please check their folder weekly

• Sign your child in and out at drop off and pick up

• Please ensure drop off and pick up occurs within 5 minutes of the start and end times to allow for continuity of the program without any interruption
